To be affective and to anchor in the corporate decision-making process, also ´sustainability’ must be introduced in a structured and systematic manner. To ensure that all actions are addressed efficiently and comprehensively a company can create a Sustainability Management System (SMS) that covers all areas of responsibility. A prerequisite of adopting an SMS is acknowledging that sustainability is part of the business cycle and by giving it the same status as other corporate activities.
