Reporting
The reporting tool is an online instrument for tourist organisations to report in- and externally on the accomplishment of specific sustainability actions. It provides an overview of possible actions which correspond with the actions in the ´Action Planning´ tool.
For each action an indication can be given if it has been accomplished or not. For some actions you are requested to add a so-called ´indicator´ to enforce your statements.
There are three types of ´indicators´:
1. a request for a textual explanation;
2. you are requested to provide a number/quantity;
3 you are requested to upload a document for verification.
The reporting tool is enriched with numerous ‘Best Practices’ of tour operators. After having completed the action planning, the sustainability manager can also forward the report to the tour operator association for qualification.
